Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Launching in India this August: Know its Price, Launch Date and Features

On August 18, Maruti intends to introduce the redesigned Alto K10 formally. The company has reportedly updated the hatchback with new features, and it now resembles the 2022 Celerio, which was introduced in January of this year. According to rumors, the company may offer both the K10 model and the current Alto 800.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 takes design cues from the current-generation Celerio. The Alto K10's front fascia will have a hexagonal grille, oval-shaped halogen headlamps, and LED DRL bars, per the pictures that have surfaced online. The upcoming hatchback will have clean body lines, steel rims, and wheel covers on the side profile.

The new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 will probably be powered by a K-Series 1.0-liter engine, which is identical to the S-Presso of the present generation. The machine will have a maximum output of 89 Nm of torque and 65.7 horsepower of peak power. There will be both an AMT and a 5-speed manual transmission available.

The new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is anticipated to come in six different color options for 2022. The new Alto K10 will have a sleek dashboard design and an all-black interior. Also, there will be a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility in the middle of the dashboard. Digital instrumentation, dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors, and ABS with EBD are a few additional notable features.

The new Maruti Alto K10 will likely be offered in four variants—Std, LXi, VXi, and VXi+—and will compete with vehicles like the S-Presso and the Renault Kwid in the Indian market. According to leaked information, the new Alto K10 will be available in 6 color variants, including Silky White, Solid White, Speedy Blue, Sizzling Red, Granite Grey, and Earth Gold.

According to reports and inevitable leaks, the new Alto has a wheelbase of 2,380 mm, a length of 3,530 mm, and a width of 1,490 mm. The height is 1,520 mm when it is not loaded. The hatchback gets a gross weight of 1150 kg.

Price of Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 (Expected):

The Alto 800 range from Rs. 3.39 lakh to Rs. 5.03 lakh in India. The cost of the new Alto might be a little bit higher. Market analysts predict that the company will sell the vehicle for Rs. 3.39 lakh and Rs. 5.5 lakh. Pre-orders for the brand-new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 are currently available for Rs. 11,000.
