Most festive schemes in Nepal hand you a discount and send you on your way. Triumph has taken a different route, and for a first-time big-bike buyer it might be the more useful one.
Triumph Motorcycles Nepal has opened The Great Festival Gear-Up 2083, running from September 20 to November 15 across Dashain, Tihar and Chhath. The headline is not a cash figure. It is a certified riding jacket, a certified helmet and a file bag included with every purchase, alongside financing that starts at Rs 5,976 a month.
What buyers get
The gear package is the distinctive part. Every Triumph bought under the campaign comes with a certified riding jacket, a certified helmet and a file bag.
That matters more than it sounds. Anyone stepping onto a 400cc machine needs proper protective gear, and buying a decent certified jacket and helmet afterwards is a real expense that most buyers underestimate. Bundling it in means riders leave the showroom properly equipped rather than making do with whatever they already own.
On financing, Triumph Nepal has partnered with HFL, with EMI starting from Rs 5,976 per month, subject to the usual terms and conditions.
There is also a Spot Exchange facility, letting existing motorcycle owners trade their current bike directly against a Triumph rather than arranging a private sale first. During a festive window this tight, that removes one of the more common reasons a purchase never happens.
The Great Festival Gear-Up 2083 at a glance
Certified riding jacket, certified helmet and file bag with every purchase
HFL financing with EMI from Rs 5,976 per month
Spot Exchange facility on existing motorcycles
Valid September 20 to November 15, 2026
Available across 11 Triumph showrooms nationwide
Which motorcycles qualify
The campaign covers Triumph's Modern Retro range in Nepal: the Speed T4, Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X and Scrambler 400 XC.
That is the entire accessible end of Triumph's lineup here, and it is aimed squarely at riders moving up from a 150cc or 200cc machine into their first proper premium motorcycle.
Eleven showrooms
Triumph Nepal now operates from 11 locations across the country, which means the campaign is not confined to Kathmandu.
For a premium brand in Nepal, network reach usually decides whether a buyer outside the valley takes the plunge. Financing and exchange are easier to justify when there is a service point within reasonable distance, and eleven locations is a meaningful footprint for a marque at this price point.
How it compares
Set against what else is running right now, this is a different kind of offer. Hero, TVS and Yamaha are all leading with prize draws and cash discounts reaching into the lakhs. Triumph has gone with certainty instead.
Nothing here depends on a scratch card or a lucky draw. The gear, the financing rate and the exchange option are fixed and known before you sign anything. Whether that beats a shot at Rs 1 million depends entirely on how you like your odds.
For a rider moving into a 400cc Triumph, though, walking out with a certified jacket and helmet already sorted is worth more than most people account for.
The Great Festival Gear-Up 2083 runs until November 15 at Triumph showrooms across Nepal.
