Samsung has unveiled three new monitors - Odyssey Neo G8, Smart Monitor M8, and UHD Monitor S8. All these monitors will be showcased at CES 2022. Here, we’ll go through the specifications, features, price, and availability of all these Samsung monitors.

Samsung Odyssey Neo G8
Display Features
The Odyssey Neo G8 is a 32-inch curved gaming monitor with 4K resolutions (3840 x 2160 pixels). It is the world’s first 4K monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, it features a 1ms response time and has a curvature of 1000R. It’s also compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia’s G-Sync adaptive sync tech, to match the refresh rate to Radeon or GeForce graphics card.
The monitor uses the same Quantum Mini LED technology that was introduced with the Odyssey Neo G9. It supports Samsung's proprietary image quality control technology Quantum Matrix and a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits. The Neo G8 is also equipped with Samsung's Quantum HDR 2000 tech. According to Samsung, the screen brightness here is controlled in 4,096 steps (12 bits) to achieve the industry's highest 1,000,000:1 fixed contrast ratio along with perfect black detail.
Connectivity
Connectivity options on the Odyssey Neo G8 include two HDMI 2.1 and one DisplayPort 1.4. There’s also a CoreSync feature that adjusts the RGB lighting on the back of the monitor to match the contents of the screen. Furthermore, the Auto Source Switch+ feature here automatically recognizes and switches sources when a connected device is powered on.

Samsung Smart Monitor M8
The Smart Monitor M8 is a new concept display with a smart hub to deliver different over-the-top (OTT) services like Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, and Samsung TV Plus. This 32-inch monitor supports UHD resolutions, 99% sRGB color gamut, and measures 11.4mm thick.
The M8 comes with a dedicated camera that can be magnetically attached and detached to the top of the display. There’s also a height-adjustable stand to adjust the screen according to the user's eye level. Finally, Samsung’s SmartThings IoT Hub allows users to control smart devices directly through the monitor.

Samsung UHD Monitor S8
Samsung UHD Monitor S8 is a high-resolution monitor optimized for creators and designers to perform graphics-intensive works. The monitor comes in two display sizes of 32-inch and 27-inch. It is claimed to be the world’s first glare-free monitor certified by UL (Underwriters Laboratories).
Samsung has focused the monitor around color accuracy. The display here supports a 98% color gamut based on DCI-P3, while the 32-inch model also bags the VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification. Other features on the Monitor S8 include wired LAN support and USB Type-C connectivity with simultaneous 90W charging and data transfer capabilities.

Samsung Monitors Price and Availability
All these monitors are scheduled to be launched in the first half of 2022. Samsung will showcase the monitors at CES 2022 (from 5-7 January), where more information about the monitors will be revealed.
