Xiaomi has launched two new monitors - Xiaomi Monitor 27-inch 4K and Redmi Monitor 27-inch Pro in China. Among the two, the Xiaomi Monitor 27-inch 4K is the company’s first 4K monitor, while the Redmi Monitor 27-inch Pro is the more affordable model with 2k resolutions. In this post, we will be looking at the Specifications, Features, availability, and expected price of both these monitors in Nepal.
Xiaomi Monitor 27-inch 4K Specifications
Display
Xiaomi Monitor 27-inch 4K features a 27-inch IPS LCD panel with 4K resolutions of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The display features minimal bezels, 400nits of brightness, and 1.07 billion colors. One of the highlighted features of the display is that its PANTONE certified for optimum color standards. It has a color accuracy of delta E<1, a 99% DCI-P3 color gamut, a 100% sRGB color gamut.
The display also supports VESA DisplayHDR 400 HDR standard and DC dimming. For eye comfort, the panel is TÜV Rheinland-certified for low blue light emission.

Ports and Others
Coming on to the connectivity, the monitor features 2 x HDMI 2.1, 1 x DP 1.4, 1 x USB Type-C, 2 x USB Type-A, and 1 x 3.5mm headphone jack. The USB Type-C port offers data transfer, audio/video transmission, and up to 90W power output.
Furthermore, the monitor features a vent for heat dissipation, a magnetic cover to hide ports, and a hole for cable management.

Redmi Monitor 27-inch Pro Specifications
Display
Redmi Monitor 27-inch Pro also features a 27-inch IPS LCD panel but only has a 2k resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The display here has 300 nits of brightness, 6.7 million colors, and minimal bezels.
For eye comfort, the panel has TÜV Rheinland and SGS certification for low blue light emission. The display further supports 100% sRGB color gamut and DC dimming.

Ports and Others
Connectivity options on the monitor include an HDMI 1.4, a DP 1.2, and an audio port. It also features a magnetic cover to hide ports and a hole for cable management.

Xiaomi Monitor 27-inch 4K price in China is CNY 3,499, while the Redmi Monitor 27-inch Pro costs CNY 1,599. Both the monitors come with a 3-years warranty and are already up for pre-order. If the monitors arrive in Nepal, we expect the price to be around Rs.70,000 and Rs.35,000.
