Samsung has unveiled its 2021 Odyssey Gaming Monitors lineup that includes Odyssey G7, Odyssey G5, and Odyssey G3. The 2021 series comes is a flat panel which is a major difference compared to the curved panel on the 2020 series. Odyssey G7

Odyssey G7 is the top-notch model of the 2021 Odyssey gaming monitors. This 28-inch monitor features an Ultra High Definition (UHD) panel with a wide 178-degree viewing angle, along with HDR400 and 400 nits peak brightness. The Odyssey G7 also features AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support and is Nvidia G-SYNC Compatible certified. Max refresh rate of the monitor is 144Hz and has a 1ms response time.

Next on the lineup is the Odyssey G5. This 27-inch monitor is the first Odyssey that features a Quad High Definition (QHD) panel with a 165Hz refresh rate delivering a 1ms response time as well as HDR10 and 350 nits peak brightness. The Odyssey G5 supports AMD FreeSync Premium and is Nvidia G-SYNC Compatible certified.

The Odyssey G3 is available in two screen sizes of 27-inch and 24-inch. Despite the difference in size, both monitors have the same VA panel with a resolution of 1920x1080 and up to 144Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness of the monitor is at 250 nits. Odyssey G3 does support AMD FreeSync Premium Premium but lacks Nvidia G-SYNC Compatible certification.
