Huawei Nova 9 SE features a 6.78-inch IPS LCD panel with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels. The display here supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch sampling rate, and has 1.05mm ultra-narrow bezels. 

The smartphone comes in three color options- Crystal Blue, Pearl White, and Midnight Black. It measures 7.94 mm thick and weighs 191 grams.

Performance

The Nova 9 SE is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. It is then paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the software side, you get an EMUI 12 UI out of the box, and like the other Huawei phones, the device lacks Google apps and services. 

There’s a 4000mAh battery fueling the smartphone. It supports 66-watt fast charging claimed to provide 60% battery in just 15 minutes.  Huawei has also added a graphene heat dissipation system in a sandwich-like architecture that’s capable of sensing and cooling down overheated areas.

For optics, the 108-megapixel primary camera is the main highlight of the quad rear camera setup of the smartphone. It is then followed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide along with two 2-megapixel macro and depth sensors. Upfront is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. 

Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB-C port. Furthermore, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics.
