Huawei MateStation S Overview

Design

Huawei MateStation S has a slim and compact design at just 93mm wide and 293mm tall. It has a diagonal pattern, which the company calls “star trail design.” Huawei offers the desktop in a single Space Gray color option.

Performance

The desktop is powered by AMD Ryzen 5 4600G processor along with AMD Radeon graphics. It is a 7nm chip based on AMD’s Zen 2 architecture. The base clock frequency of the CPU is 3700 MHz, but due to Turbo Core technology, it can perform up to 4200 MHz.

In terms of memory configuration, you get 8 GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM and 256 GB M.2 NVMe SSD storage. There are two RAM slots and two M.2 slots for RAM and storage expansion. Huawei has also added a specially designed cooling system on the desktop. The custom air-flow channels quickly remove heat directly from the processor to the vents. It is also claimed to be whisper quiet even at full throttle.

Connectivity and Ports

Ports on the desktop include USB-C, USB-A, and a 3.5 mm Audio Jack on the front side. Towards the back is a line-out port, a line-in port, an HDMI port, a VGA port, four USB-A, an RJ45 port, and a Serial port. Wireless connectivity on the device includes WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0.
