Dell has launched two new UltraSharp 4K IPS monitors that use LG’s IPS Black technology. The monitors provide 35 percent deeper blacks and a double-contrast ratio than existing IPS displays in the market. Here, we’ll be looking at the specifications, features, price, and availability of the Dell UltraSharp 4K IPS monitors.

Dell UltraSharp 4K IPS Overview

Dell UltraSharp 4K IPS monitors come in two display sizes -  27-inch UltraSharp U2723QE and 32-inch UltraSharp U3223QE. Both monitors feature a 4K UHD panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The display here has a maximum brightness of 400 nits, covers 100% sRGB color gamuts and 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

Dell UltraSharp 4K IPS USB-C Hub Monitors use LG’s IPS Black technology. Usually, IPS panels offer a 1000:1 contrast ratio but, LG’s new tech offers a max contrast ratio of 2000:1, which is twice the value. Further, the display brings support for a 60Hz refresh rate and GtG response time ranging from 5 to 8ms.

Connectivity options on the monitor include three USB 3.2 Gen2, a couple of USB-C ports, HDMI, DisplayPort, an inbuilt Ethernet, and a 3.5mm audio port. There’s also a fully adjustable stand that allows adjustments to height, pivot, swivel, and tilt.

Both Dell UltraSharp 4K IPS USB-C Hub Monitors come with head-scratching price tags. The 27-inch UltraSharp U2723QE is priced at USD 779.99 while the 32-inch UltraSharp U3223QE costs USD 1,149.99. The monitors are already available for purchase via Dell’s official website.
