The new Verna car is currently being prepared for release by Hyundai Motor India. The business recently announced that the upgraded and improved Verna would debut on March 21, 2022.
Bookings for the vehicle are now being accepted for Rs 25,000 by the firm. Consumers who are interested in the sedan can make a reservation by going online or to the dealership that is closest to them.
Design
Hyundai has provided a few teaser photographs that give us a glimpse of the new Verna's appearance even if the whole design has not yet been revealed. The redesigned Verna features a connected LED lightbar in the center of its front profile, along with compact LED DRLs.
This style, which seems fairly futuristic, was previously seen in the Staria MPV. Together with the massive front grille and the large air intake, the headlamps are positioned lower on the bumper.
The new Verna has a longer tail part on the side, which suggests that it will be longer than the present model. A similar shaft chrome treatment to that found on the Tucson is also present on the new Verna's C-pillar.

The new Verna has split LED tail lights attached to a lightbar at the back. The LED tail lights and lightbar combine to create an improvised L shape as they approach the edges. Just above the light bar, it also has the word "VERNA" written in letters.
The dual-linked screens on the next-generation Verna are the interior feature that stands out the most. The 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen and the 10.25-inch instrument panel will likely be standard on the 2023 Verna.
Moreover, a redesigned dashboard layout including several new Elantra-inspired design cues will be available. There may be more room for backseat passengers because the new Verna will probably have a longer wheelbase.

Performance
The manufacturer also disclosed the potential powertrain configurations for the new Verna. Regrettably, the new Verna will not have a diesel engine. Just gasoline-powered alternatives will be offered for the car.
The car will now be equipped with a new 1.5-liter petrol turbocharged engine that is predicted to generate 160 bhp of power and more than 250 Nm of torque. Both a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT transmission are available.

The same 1.5-liter NA petrol engine that powers the Creta, Seltos, and Carens is also available in this vehicle, paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or an IVT CVT automatic. Both engines comply with RDE and E20 regulations (20 percent ethanol blend).
In essence, the Hyundai Verna 2023 engines are prepared for E20 fuel and RDE compliance. A 1.5-liter TGDi petrol engine is available with 6-speed manual transmission and 7-speed DCT automatic options.
A 1.5-liter MPi gasoline engine with a 6-speed manual transmission and an IVT automatic transmission is also available. There is no longer a diesel engine option for the automobile.
Price, Colors, and Availability of Hyundai Verna 2023
In terms of cost, the current generation Verna starts at Rs 9.61 lakh. The new Verna is anticipated to have prices starting at Rs 10.5 lakhs. Hyundai will unveil the 2023 Verna on March 21, as we have mentioned. You may either visit your local Hyundai dealership or book one online at the Hyundai website. Reservations for the sedan are now being accepted.

Four variations of the new Verna will be offered: EX, S, SX, and SX (O). Seven single- and two dual-tone external color options will be available for the new Verna. Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Tellurian Brown are three additional paint colors that the firm will provide.
Atlas White, Fiery Red, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Abyss Black, Tellurian Brown, and Starry Night are among the monotone color selections. Fiery Red with Abyss Black and Atlas White with Abyss Black are the two dual-tone color options.
