There have been rumors that one of the three SUVs produced by Tata Motors, the Red Dark model, will soon be available in India. At the January Motor Show, the company displayed the new Dark variants of the Tata Safari and Tata Harrier. Three photographs of vehicles in the Red-dark version were recently shared as a teaser.
Despite the fact that it was generally known the automaker would provide special variations of the Tata Safari and Tata Harrier. Unexpectedly, the Tata Nexon may also receive a Red Dark variant in the teaser trailer.
Overview
Regarding the Red Dark edition, these special edition models are identical to the corresponding SUVs' 2023 editions except for minor visual details. They do, however, have red touches on the outside and interior. These variants also have crimson upholstery as an additional feature.
Before getting into the specifics, the new teaser suggests that the Red Dark edition of the Tata Nexon, Harrier, and Safari SUVs will be released. Tata Motors, meanwhile, has already displayed the Red Dark variants of the Harrier and Safari at the 2023 Auto Expo.

However, the Red Dark variant of the Tata Nexon SUV has not yet been made public by Tata Motors. However, we anticipate that this vehicle will be based on the highest trim level and will have red elements both inside and out in addition to red upholstery.
The addition of the Nexon, indicating that the tiny SUV will also receive special care, is a big surprise, though. The exterior paint treatment of the impending special edition models of the three SUVs is likely to be all-black with contrast red accents on the grille and brake calipers. It is to be expected that the inside will have red seats, grab handles on the doors, and other elements.
But, the Safari and Harrier Red Dark's new 10.25-inch touchscreen entertainment system, which will replace the two SUVs' current, somewhat dated 7.0-inch unit, was unveiled at this year's Auto Expo.

A 360-degree camera, a new fully digital instrument cluster, and ADAS safety technology are further features of the Red Dark model. Be advised that identical facilities are now available in other SUV versions as well.
If the Nexon Red Dark edition will have any new features is not yet known. Yet, it is unlikely that the powertrains of any of the three SUVs would change. The Tata Harrier and Safari Red Dark will be offered with the same 2.0-liter Kryotec diesel engine that powers the two vehicles' base models.
Its engine produces 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque and is available with a 6MT or a 6AT. On the other hand, a 1.2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that generates 120 PS and 170 Nm of torque and a 1.5-liter diesel engine both come standard on the Nexon.
There are other 6-speed gearboxes available, including 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic. No mechanical changes are anticipated because Tata Motors has updated its complete lineup to conform with the impending RDE regulations.

The Tata Harrier and Tata Safari will soon have a Red Dark edition. Both of these SUVs are equipped with a sizable number of amenities. Included in this are amenities like a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 360-degree surround-view camera, a fully digital instrument cluster, and a 6-way power adjustable driver seat with memory.
In addition, the Red Dark edition of the Tata Harrier and Safari SUVs features red brake calipers and a unique Oberon Black exterior color. The 18-inch black alloy wheels that are standard on these SUVs are positioned behind these red brake calipers, which give them an authentic appearance. The impending Red Dark variant of the aforementioned SUVs will not, therefore, have any mechanical modifications.
Conclusion
The impending Red Dark editions of the Tata Nexon, Harrier, and Safari SUVs have a very dynamic appearance and stand out remarkably from the respective SUVs' standard models. As a result, we anticipate that the impending Red Dark variant of the aforementioned SUVs will draw a sizable number of prospective customers to the Tata shops.
