Recently, Xiaomi launched a new smartphone called the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition in China. This gaming smartphone features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 120W fast charging, 120Hz OLED display, and also comes in a special Mercedes AMG F1 edition.

Starting at CNY 3,299, the smartphone went for the first flash sale in China on February 18, 2022. Soon after it was made available for purchase, the company shared a poster on Webio to showcase the quick success of its new gaming smartphone.

Redmi K50 Gaming Edition

Redmi K50 Gaming Edition packs specs like Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 120W fast charging, 120Hz OLED display, and more. It is the successor of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition launched last year and offers many gaming features that are enticing to mobile gamers.

First off, the impressive cooling system on the Redmi K50 GE features dual second-gen stainless steel vapor chambers that cover 4,860mm² of total area. The vapor chambers can transfer the heat from the battery, IC, and processor to the second-gen white graphene heat spreaders, which are claimed to be 20% more efficient than the last generation.

The smartphone also offers the world’s first CyberEngine ultra-wideband X-axis motor, which is the largest X-axis vibration motor on an Android smartphone currently available.

Rumors on Redmi K50 Gaming Edition

Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is heavily rumored to arrive as Poco F4 GT in the global market, including Nepal. In a recent screengrab of the Mi code-shared by Xiaomiui, it is claimed that the smartphone will launch as the Poco F4 GT.

Further, if we recall the past events, the Poco F3 GT launched last year in Nepal and global markets was a rebranded version of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. If the rumors come true, the Poco F4 GT will be the most affordable smartphone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the global markets.
