Most of you may have already been well-known about the OPPO Reno 2 20X zoom which is making quite a fuss around the internet. However, the 20X Zoom is a camera oriented version but what about the standard one? Well, OPPO has recently decided to release the standard version of the phone too which will simply be called the ‘OPPO Reno 2’.
Surprisingly, there are already some leaks and rumors on the specs of the standard version OPPO Reno 2 rumbling around the internet. Highlighting on the rumors and expectations of the phone. It is expected that the Reno 2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 730G chipset which is in fact a gaming-focused chipset. Also, it will be the first phone to be powered by this chip. More on, for handling the graphics, the phone might receive the overclocked Adreno 618 GPU which improves the Gaming performance by 15%.
Seemingly, the new chipset will also have anti-cheat extensions and Jank Reducer which helps to reduce the in-game stutter. The HDR gaming support and Touch boost technology on the device will further enhance the gaming experience to a new level.
Furthermore, highlighting on the standard features, the OPPO Reno 2 is presumed to flaunt a big 6.5” OLED display with 93.1% screen-to-body ratio. The base variant of the phone might be coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device will be packed with a 4000mAh battery (VOOC 3.0 Fast Charging).
Coming to the photographic attributes of the phone, the OPPO Reno 2 is expected to adopt a quad-camera setup comprising a 48MP+13MP+8MP+2MP lens on the rear. While on the front, it might probably get a 16MP selfie pop-up camera.
However, all of these mentioned features or specs of the phone are only based on leaks and rumors rumbling around the internet. So, we cannot officially claim it to be true until OPPO itself sheds some light on it.
