Zeekr X Price in Nepal: Design, Safety, Battery, Colors, and More…

Nepal’s electric vehicle scene has exploded in recent years, with a growing appetite for stylish, premium EVs. But there’s always been a fine line between bold design and actual market traction. Enter the Zeekr X, a futuristic, urban electric crossover from Geely’s luxury sub-brand that promises a bit of both.

First launched in Nepal by Pioneer Moto Corp, the Zeekr X generated a wave of curiosity. However, pricing missteps and lukewarm demand meant that sales didn’t quite match the early buzz. But now, with a fresh Rs. 5 lakh price cut for the festive season, Zeekr is trying to turn the tide.

Pricing and Availability

The Zeekr X is now priced at Rs. 69.99 lakhs in Nepal, exclusively for the Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) variant. This is a limited-period festive price, down from its original Rs. 84.99 lakhs launch tag, a total markdown of Rs. 15 lakhs.

Bookings are open across all authorized Zeekr showrooms in Nepal, and buyers also get additional perks as part of the offer:

  • 1-year road tax coverage

  • 1-year Auto Plus insurance

  • 7.2 kW AC wall charger (free)

If you’ve been waiting to make the leap into a premium EV, this is easily the best value the Zeekr X has offered since its debut.

Design

Urban styling meets sci-fi flair, that’s the Zeekr X in a nutshell.

Built on Geely’s SEA2 platform, the Zeekr X flaunts a dramatic exterior with Double-Edged LED DRLs, hidden door handles, and a sculpted body that looks like it was designed in a tech lab. At the front, the headlamp setup features matrix LEDs and 56 independently controlled lights that form a striking light bar.

On the side, the floating roof, multi-spoke alloys, and sharp character lines create a longer-than-it-looks silhouette. The 2750mm wheelbase gives it both aesthetic length and practical cabin space. At the rear, a full-width LED taillight and electric tailgate with memory function tie the design together.

Color options in Nepal include Crystal White, Grid Grey, Mist Grey, Palace Beige, and Pine Green, each one giving the Zeekr X a distinctly premium vibe.

Interior

Step inside, and the Zeekr X feels like a lounge from the future.

The cabin is covered in stitched PVC panels and soft-touch materials that mimic leather well. The driver’s seat offers 6-way power adjustability, ventilation, lumbar support, and memory settings, while the passenger gets standard 6-way adjustability and seat cooling.

At the center sits a 14.6-inch slidable infotainment screen, paired with an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster. The AWD version (not currently available off-the-shelf) includes a head-up display with AR and a 13-speaker Yamaha sound system. The RWD, by comparison, gets a 7-speaker setup, but still manages to sound quite refined.

Other highlights include dual-zone climate control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charger, and a sunroof. Interior color schemes include Black & Grey, Blue & White, and Mulberry & Rose.

Performance

Here’s where Zeekr X begins to truly justify its "premium" tag.

The currently available RWD variant comes with a 200 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) delivering 272 PS and 343 Nm of torque. That translates to a 0–100 km/h time of just 5.6 seconds, placing it firmly in sport-SUV territory.

Paired with a 66 kWh Ternary Lithium battery, the Zeekr X offers a 440 km WLTP range for the RWD. Charging times are as follows:

  • 11.5 hours with 7.2 kW AC charger

  • 7.5 hours with 11 kW AC charger

  • 30 minutes (10% to 80%) via 150 kW DC fast charger

The AWD variant, if specially ordered, bumps power to 428 PS and 543 Nm, achieving 0–100 km/h in a blistering 3.8 seconds.

Features

Zeekr didn’t cut corners when it came to tech and creature comforts. Whether it’s safety, infotainment, or convenience, the Zeekr X ticks nearly every box:

  • 66 kWh NMC Battery with 440 km range (WLTP)

  • 14.6-inch Slidable Infotainment Screen

  • Augmented Reality HUD (AWD only)

  • Matrix LED Headlights

  • Wireless Phone Charging

  • Ventilated Front Seats

  • Dual-Zone Climate Control

  • 7/13-Speaker Sound System (RWD/AWD)

  • ADAS suite with radar assist

  • 360-degree camera with parking sensors

  • TPMS, DPS, Hill Assist

  • Electric Tailgate with memory height

  • 8-year warranty on battery/motor (or 160,000 km)

  • 4-year vehicle warranty

Storage is also practical: 362 liters boot capacity, expandable to 1182 liters, along with a ground clearance of 191 mm and 5-seater configuration.

Competitors

The Zeekr X competes with models like the XPeng G6, Deepal S07, and even the newly launched BYD Sealion 7.

On paper, the XPeng G6 is heavier (2095 kg) and slower (0–100 in 6.9 sec), but offers better long-term battery chemistry with LFP cells. The Zeekr X counters with better acceleration and a more daring design.

Compared to the BYD Sealion 7, the Zeekr X wins on horsepower and acceleration but loses ground in torque and battery safety. BYD’s Blade Battery (LFP) is known for superior thermal safety and long-term reliability, which could matter more for daily Nepali conditions.

Zeekr banks on branding, performance, and design appeal, while others, like BYD, focus on long-term value.

Conclusion

The Zeekr X is not the kind of EV that blends into traffic, and that’s by design.

With its cutting-edge looks, powerful motor, and now, a much more reasonable price, it’s finally starting to look like the premium EV it was always meant to be. Add in generous warranty coverage and high-end features, and this Rs. 69.99 lakhs package feels like it’s punching above its weight.

Yes, the AWD variant's limited availability might frustrate enthusiasts, but for the average Nepali EV buyer seeking futuristic styling, strong acceleration, and loaded tech, the RWD Zeekr X now makes a compelling case.

It’s not just about looking different anymore, it’s about delivering premium value at the right price. And with this festive cut, Zeekr Nepal might have finally found the sweet spot.
