The Aerox 155 is Yamaha's flagship maxi-scooter and competes against the likes of the Aprilia SR 150 and Honda PCX150 in the premium scooter segment.
The Yamaha Aerox 155 looks sporty and aggressive with its muscular design and sharp styling. It gets an angular headlamp, a chiseled fuel tank, and a split seat setup for a sporty stance.
The overall finish and build quality are top-notch with high-quality paint and sturdy body panels.
Yamaha Aerox 155 Power and Performance
Powering the Aerox 155 is a 155cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 14.8 BHP of power at 8,000 RPM and 13.9 Nm of torque at 6,500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a CVT automatic transmission.
Performance is peppy and responsive with good throttle feel. The Aerox 155 can achieve a top speed of around 105 km/h. The fuel efficiency is around 45 kmpl which is decent for a performance-oriented 155cc scooter.
Yamaha Aerox 155 Braking and Suspension
The Yamaha Aerox 155 gets telescopic forks at front and a monoshock unit at the rear. The suspension is on the stiffer side for better handling.
Moreover, braking duties are handled by a 230mm disc brake at the front and a disc brake at the rear with ABS as standard for effective braking even in wet road conditions. The Aerox 155 rides on 14-inch alloy wheels shod with wide tubeless tyres for superior grip.
