Vivo has launched its premium Vivo X Note smartphone that features a large 7-inch display. Apart from a gigantic screen, the device also offers specs like Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, Zessis tuned optics, 80W fast charging, and much more. Vivo X Note Overview

Design and Display

Vivo X Note features a 7-inch LTPO 3.0 E5 AMOLED panel with a QHD+ resolution of 3080 x 1440 pixels. The display here supports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and has 1500 nits of peak brightness and 112% DCI-P3 coverage. It also has an unusual 21:10 aspect ratio and curved display on the sides. Vivo was able to bag a DisplayMate A+ rating on its display.

In terms of design, the device has a leather-like texture on the back. It is offered in Sunny Mountain Blue, Earth Grey, and Bright Night Black color options. The device measures 8.75mm thick and weighs 221 grams.

Performance

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There’s also a Vivo V1 chip or image optimization. For Cooling, the smartphone features a three-dimensional heat dissipation structure composed of a vacuum chamber soaking plate, PGS graphite thermal conductive sheet, thermally conductive gel, and a 47,132 mm² heat dissipation area.

Vivo X Note packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, and 50W wireless charging. Vivo claims that the 80W fast charging can fully charge the device in just 32 minutes. On the software side, it runs on the Android 12 based OriginOS.

Camera and Others

For optics, the Vivo X Note features a quad camera setup tuned by Zeiss. The main camera here is a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor with OIS (optical image stabilization). It is then followed by a 48MP ultrawide with 114° FoV, a 12MP Sony IMX663 portrait lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with up to 5x optical zoom and up to 60x digital zoom. Upfront is a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity options on the device include 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB-Type-C port. It features an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for biometrics. There’s also an independent Hi-Fi chip for impressive audio and high-end sound quality.
