Vivo T1x brings 5G Dimensity 900 processor and 44W fast charging | Price, Specifications, and Features

Along with the T1, Vivo also unveiled the Vivo T1x in China. The smartphone comes with a Dimensity 900 processor, a 44-watt fast charging, and a 120Hz display. Here, we will go through the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the Vivo T1x in Nepal.

Vivo T1x Overview

Design and Display

Vivo T1x features a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. The display here supports a 120Hz fast refresh rate and has a 90.61% screen-to-body ratio.

In terms of design, there is a rectangular camera module at the back and a waterdrop style notch on the display. The smartphone comes in three color options of Starry Night, Iridescent, and Sea Salt. It measures 8.5mm thick and weighs 189 grams.

Performance

Vivo T1x also features a 5G MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor (Vivo T1 features a Snapdragon 778G chipset). The smartphone comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of expandable storage (T1 features a comparatively faster LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.)

On the software side, the phone here operates on Android 11 based OriginOS 1.0.

Camera

For optics, Vivo T1X only has a dual-camera setup of a 64-megapixel primary camera and a 2MP macro sensor. Upfront is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Powering the T1x is the same 5000mAh battery with 44-watt fast charging support that we saw on the Vivo T1. There is both facial recognition and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics. Connectivity options on the device include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, an USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Vivo T1x price in China starts at CNY 1,699 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The smartphone is already up for pre-order and sales will start November 1 in China. If the smartphone launches here in Nepal, we expect the price to start around Rs.35,000.
