Toyota Land Cruiser LC300, which came to the international market in June 2021, has arrived in Nepal.
Toyota's official distributor for Nepal, the United Traders Syndicate Pvt. Ltd., announced its price in November. The company has started selling it at a price of 4.92 crores in Nepal.
According to the production target set by the company, only 5,000 units are produced annually and now the booking has reached about 21,000 units. According to Toyota Global, bookings have been canceled due to high demand worldwide.
Toyota Land Cruiser 300 in Nepal
First on, the new Land Cruiser 300 Series arrives with enhanced features while is lighter and more powerful than its predecessor.
Engine and Transmission
The new-generation Land Cruiser 300 Series inherits the same platform as the 2022 Toyota Tundra pick-up, I.e. TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform. As for the engine, this one will be powered by a twin-turbo V6 naturally aspirated engine unlike the V8 used in the previous generation.
As for the engine options, the Japanese carmaker offers a twin-turbo V6 3.5L diesel unit churning out a massive peak power of 305bhp alongside 700Nm of peak torque.

As far as transmission is concerned, its engine is mated to a 10-Speed automatic gearbox. The Land Cruiser can reach a speed of 0-100km/h within just 6.7 seconds.
Off-Road Capabilities?
Compared to the preceding model, the new-generation Land Cruiser 300 Series arrives with enhanced off-road capabilities. The off-road SUV now arrives with improved tech features.
Firstly, we must speak about the new ‘Multi-Terrain Monitor’ feature, which simply helps you to see the obstacles upfront while driving. Complementing this amazing feature is a new ‘Multi-Terrain Select’ feature that automatically selects the right driving mode to overcome these obstacles based on road conditions. With the adoption of this feature, the driver in real-time can view the surface beneath the wheels and also judge the riding quality of the machine.

For more improvements, it’s infused with world-first technologies. The redesigned body chassis used in the off-road beast offers improved rigidity, strength, and balance on the machine.

Interior
In terms of interior, the 2022 Land Cruiser gets a ton of premium makeover. Some Highlighted features include 3D Multi-Terrain Monitor System, heads-up display, four-zone climate control, premium leather upholstery, 14-speaker JBL audio system, a 12.3-inch infotainment unit, connected car tech, and so on.
Suspension Setup
The suspension facets on the Land Cruiser 300 Series have also been refined to obtain a perfect off-roading capability. It now uses the world-first Electronic Kinetic Dynamic Suspension (E-KDDS) that, no doubt is going to handle the tough terrains.
Safety Features
There has been significant advancement made in the safety of the off-roader too. The upgraded safety features include an improved safety and driving assistance system, a Pre-Collision System (for detection of pedestrians and other riders at day/night time), a Potential Collision Hazard (PCH), a new Parking Support Brake (for improved support while parking), and more.
