Global EV battery sales booms with high demand for EVs

In the recent report from Bloomberg, it states that the sales of EV batteries have doubled in the last few months. And this is all because of the sudden increase in the demand for eco-friendly cars.

Sales of EV batteries rose to 65.9 gigawatt-hours in the January-April period, from 26.8 gigawatt-hours a year earlier, SNE Research. said Tuesday.

Despite the huge loss that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought to us today, the sales and demand for electric vehicles haven’t lost their pace a little. Not only for a particular region, but the demand for these eco-friendly vehicles has reached a new high in the globe as a whole.

Top carmakers such as Volkswagen and Ford are also adding new electric models in their stable. On the other hand, EV giant Tesla’s sales have boomed triple the figure in recent months.
