Tesla, the world's largest EV maker, has opened the world's longest supercharger station in France. Opened in partnership with French supermarket E. Leclerc, the station has 28 units of 3V superchargers. These have a capacity of 250 kW.

Tesla has been increasing the number of superchargers lately. By 2020, it has connected 23,277 superchargers in 2,564 stations and by the end of 2021, it has increased by 35 percent to 31,498 in 3,476 stations.

As the number of its electric cars increases globally, the company's focus now seems to be on increasing the number of superchargers. It recently built the world's largest charging station in Shanghai, China where 72 charging stalls have been kept.
