TCL unveils Alcatel 1 2021 and Alcatel 1L Pro | Two entry-level smartphones

TCL unveils two new entry-level smartphones Alcatel 1 and Alcatel 1L Pro. both the smartphones operate on the Go Edition of Android 11 and will go for sale in the coming months. Here, we will go through the price, specifications, and availability of the two new Alcatel devices.

Alcatel 1 2021 Overview

Alcatel 1 is a basic entry-level smartphone with a 5.0-inch TFT display and thick bezels on top and bottom. The display has a resolution of 480 x 960 pixels. Alcatel 1 gets a Mediatek MT6739 processor and only has a1GB of RAM and 8GB or 16GB of internal storage. For the camera, there is a sole 5MP primary camera at the back and a 2MP selfie camera upfront.

The smartphone operates on the Go Edition of Android 11. Alcatel 1 gets its power from a 2000mAh battery. Furthermore, the device supports wireless connectivity of WiFi 4 and Bluetooth 4.2.

The launch and availability of the Alcatel 1 2021 in Nepal are yet unknown. If the smartphone somehow launches in Nepal then we expect the price to be around Rs.8,100.

Alcatel 1L Pro brings a 6.1-inch IPS display and has a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels. The smartphone has a modern-looking mini-notch compared to Alcatel 1. Alcatel 1L Pro gets an unnamed octa-core processor that is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The internal storage is upgradable up to 128GB through a micro SD card.

The dual-camera setup at the back has a 13MP primary lens and a 2MP depth sensor. You get the support of the Android 11 Go Edition on the smartphone. TCL has not specified the front camera and the battery of the Alcatel 1L Pro but we can expect the front camera to be of 2MP and a 3000mAh battery.
