Tata Nexon in Nepal: Price, Features, Overview

Tata Motors Nepal, the authorised distributor of Tata cars in Nepal has launched the all new Tata Nexon in Nepal. The Nexon rivals the likes of the Ford Ecosport and the Suzuki Vitara Brezza. The price of the Tata Nexon starts at Rs.32,75,000 and tops out at Rs. 45,55,000 for the top of the line diesel variant. Tata is slowly trying to capture the premium market. The Tata Nexon is priced lower than both the Ford Ecosport and the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. As such, in a country like Nepal where pricing is the key, Tata Motors has a really big advantage. But it's not the only pricing which makes this compact SUV a better option. It also features premium features which include rear A/C vents and premium audio system. This compact SUV also has a ground clearance of 209mm which is larger than both its competitors.

The TATA brand image has also gotten a lot better now. No more is TATA a brand for those who are getting a new car on a budget. After having bought Jaguar and Landrover, TATA is one of the biggest automobile manufacturers in the world.

The Tata Nexon is powered by all a new 1.5-litre Revetorq Diesel engine. There's also a 1.2L turbo petrol engine which is going to be the engine of choice here in Nepal. Talking about the efficiency of the Tata Nexon, the car returns a claimed 21.5kmpl on the diesel variant and 17kmpl on the petrol variant of the car.

Available in four distinct variants – XE, XM, XT, XZ+, the Tata NEXON is available in 5 colour options which include Vermont Red, Moroccan Blue, Seattle Silver, Glasgow Grey and Calgary White and will come with a standard warranty of 75000 kms or 2 years, whichever is earlier.
