Suzuki Gixxer 155 Returns to Nepal with an Irresistible Price Point

Nepal's motorcycle enthusiasts have reason to celebrate as the iconic Suzuki Gixxer 155 makes a triumphant return to the market. VG Suzuki, the authorized distributor of Suzuki bikes in Nepal, has unveiled this beloved 150cc two-wheeler once again, and the best part? It comes with an introductory price that's hard to resist.

Design

The Suzuki Gixxer 155 takes inspiration from its bigger sibling, the Gixxer 250, resulting in a design that exudes sportiness. The LED headlamp, halogen indicators, and digital instrument cluster make for a modern and tech-savvy front end. Its muscular profile is further accentuated by a sculpted fuel tank, sharp tank shrouds, and a sporty split-seat setup. The signature dual-port muffler with a chrome finish, LED taillamp and split grab rails give this bike a distinctive look. Although it shares a design lineage with the Gixxer 250, it misses out on the engine cover and handlebar ends, which could be considered a minor drawback in 2023.

Performance

Under the hood, the Suzuki Gixxer 155 packs a punch with its 155cc engine, generating 14.1PS of power at 8000rpm and 14Nm of torque at 6000rpm. It's mated to a 5-speed transmission, making it a delight to ride. Despite the sporty graphics and features, the engine remains BS4-compliant, lacking some of the advanced features seen in BS6 models, such as side stand engine cut-off and Bluetooth-connected digital meters.
