The launch of an all-electric 1500 full-size pickup truck from Ram has been formally confirmed for 2024. Though it won't instantly replace the version with a combustion engine, the model's long-term future is undoubtedly battery-electric.

The longest-range F-150 Lightning is now expected to travel 200 miles less than that. Ram claims that the electric truck can add up to 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes using 800-volt DC rapid charging at up to 350 kW, at least in concept form.
