<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bad news for new driving license registration applicants as <strong>DOTM</strong> has announced to not open new driving license registration forms for the next 4 months.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">According to the <strong>Department of Transport Management (DOTM)</strong>, the new license form will not be opened before October. New applications for licenses will be accepted only after Dashain.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As more than 7 lakh candidates have already applied for the license, new registration for the driving licenses will be halted for now. An additional 6 lakhs renewals and smart license printing are still on hold. <em>(as per DOTM)&nbsp;</em></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Currently, more than 25 people are barred from gathering at one place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. And at times like this, more than a hundred candidates are not able to sit at the same place while conducting examinations. Glancing at this situation, DOTM has planned not to take any new registration before the festive season.&nbsp;</span></p>
