If we look into power and performance metrics, the MG Comet generates 42 PS power delivering up to a maximum torque of 110 Nm from a 31.26 kW PMSM motor. However, the Changan Lumin which has a 35 kW PMSM motor creates 48 PS max power generating a max torque of 83 Nm. With 42 PS power, the Comet EV still gives a top speed of 100 km/h meanwhile Lumin which has a larger motor capacity with a max power of 48 PS has a top speed of only 101 km/h. 

MG Comet falls short in terms of size although it stands 1640 mm tall, its length (2974 mm) and width (1505 mm) are a little narrower and smaller compared to Changan Lumin, which has a longer length of 3270 mm and width of 1700 mm with 1590 mm height. The MG Comet has a slightly longer ground clearance of 165mm while the Changan Lumin has a ground clearance of 150 mm.
