For 2022, Maruti Suzuki has upgraded its S-Presso hatchback. The new hatchback, which is based on the Heartect platform, is now driven by Suzuki's next-generation K-series petrol engine, which is more fuel efficient than previous models. And the vehicle has a slew of new amenities, while the look is mostly unchanged.

Overview
- This is an excellent vehicle for everyone. It has excellent mileage, performance, and appearance. Maruti Suzuki upgraded the S-Presso for 2022 about three years after the original was released.
- The S-Presso, which was introduced as more of a compact SUV than a regular hatchback, has done well for Maruti, with sales of over two lakh units since 2019.
- Maruti Suzuki India Ltd's latest entry-level hatchback, the S-Presso, failed a crash test conducted by Global NCAP, receiving zero stars out of a possible three.
- The design of the S-Presso is identical to that of its predecessor. The vehicle, however, is now powered by the next-generation K10C dual-jet, dual-VVT engine, which is paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or an AMT. The engine has a power output of 66 bhp and a torque output of 89 Nm.
- The new hatchback features an idle start/stop technology that saves 17 percent more fuel than previous models. Suzuki claims that the new S-Presso gets between 24.76 and 25.30 kmpl depending on the transmission selection.
- The car is available in six trim levels: Standard, LXi, VXi, VXi+, VXi (O), and VXi+ (O). The AMT transmission is available only on the VXi (O) and VXi+ (O) models. Furthermore, these costlier varieties include additional features.
