Most scooters at the Rs 2-3 lakh mark give you just enough range to get through the day if you are not too ambitious about where you go.

Evoque Nepal Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Keren Electric in Nepal, seems to have noticed the same thing. Their latest launch, the Blaze Pro 3.7 kWh, arrives with a claimed range of 150 kilometers on a single charge and a price tag of Rs 2,80,000. That combination should not exist at this price point. And yet here we are.

The 3.7 kWh battery is the headline, but the full picture is more interesting than just one number. CBS braking, traction control, LFP battery chemistry, slope hold, reverse mode, and a 3.5-hour partial charge time. On paper, this reads like a spec sheet from a scooter that costs considerably more. Whether it backs all of that up on Kathmandu's actual roads is a different question, but Keren Electric has at least earned the right to be taken seriously.

Design

The Blaze Pro carries a stance built for daily use rather than showroom floors. It sits at a ground clearance of 160 mm, which matters more in Nepal than most spec sheets let on. Kathmandu's roads are not kind to scooters that sit too low, and 160 mm gives the Blaze Pro enough belly room to handle broken tarmac, flooded lanes, and the usual collection of speed bumps without drama.

Dimensions come in at 1900 mm long, 760 mm wide, and 1170 mm tall, giving it a proportionate, road-ready silhouette without feeling bulky. Both wheels are 12-inch units front and rear, a size that balances stability and nimbleness well for urban riding. The cockpit runs a colorful digital display that gives riders a clear, real-time picture of speed, range, and battery status. Storage space is described as ample, keeping the practical side of city commuting covered without asking riders to strap bags to the back.

Performance

Power comes from a K-Tech Dilu Hub Drive motor with a rated output of 4000W and a peak power of 5000W. That peak figure matters in real riding more than the rated number. It is what the motor can call on during hard acceleration from a standstill or while overtaking, and 5000W gives the Blaze Pro a sharp, confident pull off the line.

Top speed is rated at 85+ km/h, which sits in a practical sweet spot: fast enough to hold your own on arterial roads and ring road stretches, but not so aggressive that the battery drains badly on a moderate commute.

The bigger performance story is the 150 km claimed range on a single full charge. The battery is a 74V 50Ah lithium iron phosphate unit, which works out to roughly 3.7 kWh of usable capacity. In this price bracket, that figure is genuinely uncommon. Most rivals at or under the Rs 3 lakh mark are still working with packs that ask you to plan your day around charging stops. The Blaze Pro is designed to remove that calculation from your morning routine.

Charging from zero to 80 percent takes around 3.5 hours. For daily use, plug in after dinner and you wake up to a nearly full battery. The maximum load capacity is rated at 180 kg, which is a reassuring number for two-up riding.
