Grand i10 Nios Overview
Exterior
The new Grand i10 Nios features a projector light along with a long sweptback headlamp on the front. More on, the car also gets a cascading grille and V-shaped LED DRL lights on the front. The four-wheeler gets a sporty and funky look on the exterior.
The new headlamp and cascading grille design built on a sleeker design make the car even more attractive. The car also has a machine-cut alloy wheel mounted on it along with sharper headlight and new taillight which further adds an elegant feel to the four-wheeler.
The rear side of i10 Nios adopts wrap-around headlamps along with integrated reflectors on the bumper. On the center of the boot lies a giant Hyundai logo while the model name ‘Nios’ rests at the bottom of the logo. Additionally, it has a chrome door-handle and a black pillar.
The top variant of the car also features auto-folding outside rearview mirror, rear wiper, a shark-fin antenna and roof rail along with turn indicators.
Interior
Highlighting on the interiors, the Grand i10 Nios’ interior is available in dual-tone colors. The driver cabin features an 8-inch infotainment system along with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Also, it receives a three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, auto climate control, rear AC vents, and wireless charging feature.
For safety, the car gets dual airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD and other standard safety equipment.
Engine Performance and Variants
The Grand i10 Nios is available in two different engine options: Petrol and Diesel. Similarly, it will be available in 7 Petrol variants and 3 Diesel variants.
The 1197cc four-cylinder petrol engine generates a power of 83PS with a peak torque of 116Nm while the engine is mated with a 5-speed manual as well as an automatic gearbox.
Similarly, the other 1186cc three-cylinder diesel engine generates a 75PS power and peak torque of 194Nm.
The petrol engine gives a mileage of 20.7km and the diesel variant gives a mileage of 26.2km. The car will compete against other models such as the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Ford Figo.
