HTC makes a comeback with the new HTC Wildfire X | Price and Specifications

HTC has been one of the most struggling phone brands in the world. In the past, the firm had been one of the top brands to manufacture top-level smartphones, however, this time around HTC has lost its pace. Also, the future of the brand seems uncertain until now.

Well, in this top-level competitive market of smartphone brands, HTC has again stepped inside the arena with its new device, the HTC Wildfire X while the brand has made some compromises.

Well, let’s have a quick overview of the device.

HTC Wildfire X Overview

The new HTC Wildfire X is not entirely HTC, it’s in fact manufactured by a Chinese company, called InOne Smart Technology. However, HTC has made a comeback of the Wildfire series after 8 years.

The new Wildfire X is in fact a budget range smartphone with good features such as the triple camera setup which comprises of a 12MP primary camera, 8MP telephoto lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. Well, it can’t be noted as a unique factor of the brand because there are already some budget level smartphones in the market which boast triple camera setup.

Additionally, the device flaunts a 6.2” HD+ display with a waterdrop notch on the top. Inside the notch, you will get an 8MP selfie camera which clicks pretty good selfies.

Highlighting on the hardware, the phone is powered by Helio P22 chipset. The phone is available in two RAM variants: 3/4GB while it also has two variants in the internal storage: 32/128GB. In addition, there is also a slot for microSD card which can be expandable up to 256GB.

Coming to the battery, the HTC Wildfire X houses a 3300 mAh battery. Most interestingly, the phone also imports “My Buddy” feature which is somewhat similar to cell phone tracker. This feature is a distress companion that can trigger loud alarms in a dangerous situation while also shares the user’s location with friends and family in real-time. Well, this feature of the device is quite alluring.

Overall, the new HTC Wildfire X is not much of a unique or innovative smartphone as it inherits most of the general features which you get in regular budget smartphones.
