Honda’s popular commuter bike, Shine has set a new benchmark. The motorcycle has set a new record by selling 9 million units in the 125cc motorcycle segment in the Indian market. The bike was first launched in India in 2006.
According to the company, Honda Shine holds a total of 30% market share in the 125cc bike segment. In November 2019, the firm had sold 75,144 units of Honda Shine model while this year 94,413 units of the motorcycle have been sold.

Honda Shine has been a popular choice for most of the riders since its very first launch. The company itself had been able to sell 1 million units of Shine models on first 54 months of its launch. Overtime, various improvements have been made to the bike such as the 125cc PGM-Fi HET engine.
