Diesel-Petrol bills can now be paid though e-Sewa service

From now on, diesel and petrol bills can be paid through eSewa using the app’s QR code service.

E-Sewa has recently said that it has launched this new service at more than 100 petrol pumps around the Kathmandu valley. And through this, you can now pay your money for petrol and diesel just by scanning the QR code in the app simply. The company adds, ‘This will also end the hassle for the consumers to carry extra cash for carrying out payments in petrol pumps.’

According to the company, this new payment service has reached more than 100 petrol pumps in and out of the valley while it will expand further in the coming days. Currently, the petrol pump under the e-Sewa list is mostly located out of the valley compared to the ones inside.

This service is currently available at Chakrapath Fuel Center (Balaju), Gayatri Devi Oil Store (Ekantakuna), Maitidevi Petroleum Suppliers (Maitidevi), Trading (Taudaha), Trilochan Enterprises (Panipokhari), Ujjwal Oil Store (Gwarko) and more. Before this, IME Pay had already started this payment system in Nepal while now eSewa which is also considered to be the largest payment service provider in Nepal has launched this service in Nepal. This significant step by these firms also signifies the rapid growth of the digital payment system in Nepal while we expect more advanced innovation in the future run.
