The popular Chinese electric automaker, BYD is soon planning on launching its popular electric car, BYD Song Max in the Nepali market. Cimex Inc. the sole distributor for BYD Electric Cars in Nepal will be unveiling the Song Max car within the next two-three months.
Adopting luxury features and performance, the new BYD Song Max is expected to acquire good reviews from the Nepali consumers. The car will also be showcased at the Auto Expo 2020 India happening in February. Well, this news glimpses the chance of more production of right-hand drive BYD cars in the future.

Coming on to the features of the BYD four-wheeler, the BYD Song Max is provided with 18-inch alloy wheels while it comes with 6 or 7 seats as a seating option. Powering the vehicle is a 60kW lithium-ion, liquid-cooled polymer battery which is claimed to provide a range of 500km by BYD. The top speed of the Song Max is 150km/hr.
Moreover, speaking of the other quirky feature of the car, the 60kW DC charger provided with the car can give a range of 100kms in just 15 minutes of charging. According to the company, this multi-purpose electric car can take on a speed of 0-50km in just 4.5 seconds as stated on their official website.
The single electric motor installed into the BYD Song Max delivers a power of 160bhp along with a peak torque of 450Nm.
