Asus has unveiled the world’s first 500Hz G-Sync display, dubbed the Asus ROG Swift 500Hz. The company says it's the most fluid and fast-paced motion one can find in modern Esports. So let’s check out all the features of the Asus ROG Swift 500Hz.

Asus ROG Swift 500Hz Specifications 

Asus ROG Swift 500Hz features a 24.1-inch panel with an FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The monitor here has a three-sided narrow display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and support for a groundbreaking 500Hz refresh rate. 

According to Asus, to reach this new milestone, they used a new display panel tech called the Esports-TN panel (E-TN). The tech is said to offer “60% better response times than standard TN panels.” Asus also adds that the Swift 500Hz can draw frames more than eight times faster per second compared to a typical 60Hz display. 

The Asus ROG Swift 500Hz brings additional features from NVIDIA. It comes with a built-in NVIDIA Reflex Analyzer and G-SYNC support, which allows users to tune the device at the “lowest possible input lag without stuttering or tearing.”

Asus has also included an e-sports tuned enhanced Vibrance mode, which according to the company allows more light to travel through the LCD crystals, boosting color vibrancy. 

Further specs and details of the Asus ROG Swift 500Hz are yet to be announced. 

Asus ROG Swift 500Hz Price and Availability 

Asus has not announced the pricing and availability details of the Asus ROG Swift 500Hz. We believe the device will come with a hefty price tag, that’s for sure.
