Paramount Motors, the official distributor of MG, is going to start the official sale of the Hector SUV today. The company, which had started its bookings from Dashain, is going to officially launch the SUV from today.
Hector produced by MG in India is launching in Nepal for the first time. The company has now brought the Shine, Smart, and Sharp variants of the SUV in Nepal.
The SUV is powered by a 1451cc 4-cylinder inline 4V DOHC that delivers a peak power of 141 bhp at 5000rpm alongside a peak torque of 250 Nm at 1600rpm. The Hector Shine offers both 6-speed manuals as well as dual-clutch automatic gearbox options.

The suspension duties are handled by Macpherson Strut with a Stabilizer Bar upfront alongside a semi-independent Helical Spring Torsion Beam at the rear. The 17-inch alloy wheels on both sides are equipped with disc brakes.
Safety features in the Hector include dual airbags, ABS, Electric Brake Force Distribution, Brake Assist, Hill Hold Control, etc.
