2021 Hyundai Verna Specs leaked- getting updated features and variants?

After the upgrade of its mid-sized SUV Creta, launched in India a few weeks ago, Hyundai is planning on unveiling the new version of its popular Sedan, Verna with minor modifications.

Although the South Korean automaker itself hasn’t rolled out any details on its upcoming sedan, some upgrades in the 2021 Verna have already surfaced online.

2021 Hyundai Verna Updates

First on, the sedan will now be featuring wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity support for S+ and SX trims. Meanwhile, the S+ variant only gets a manual gearbox transmission option while the SX trim gets both manuals as well as automatic gearbox options.

Moreover, both the trims- S+ and SX trims are getting an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system while the top variant SX (O) is offered a flagship 8.)-inch AVN HD unit housed with Hyundai's BlueLink car technology.

Besides this, the other features, specs, design of the premium Hyundai sedan are still expected to be the same. Other key features such as projector LED headlights, wireless charging, automatic climate control, a sunroof, a rearview camera, automatic headlamps, cruise control, auto-dimming rearview mirror, etc. are still going to be the same.

No changes in Engine and Performance

Under the hood of the premium sedan, things are still being left out the same. The new-gen Hyundai Verna will be offered the same 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol units, a 1.5-L CRDi turbo diesel engine, and a 1.0-liter GDi turbo petrol unit.
