And finally, the phone is official and here's all you need to know about the phone.

The company has launched two new phones, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. The phones are launched for the Indian market as of now. We can expect the phone to hit Nepal as soon as next month. The price of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 in India is INR9,999 and that of Redmi Note 5 Pro is INR13,999.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro is an all-new phone with a 5.99-inch display and a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor with 4+4 Kryo 260 CPU clocked @1.8GHz and Adreno 509 GPU. You also get an option of either 4GB of RAM or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of Internal Storage.

And, as you guessed it, the highlight of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is the dual camera with a 12+5MP sensor with f/2.2 and f/2.0 respectively. On the front, there's a 20MP selfie camera with its own set of LED flash. No wonder this is a phone targeted at people with photographic needs.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro is also the first Xiaomi phone to come with Face Unlock feature. The phone promises lightning fast face unlock feature like the one we have seen in the OnePlus 5T . What's interesting is that the company has decided to opt-out from using USB-C port and fast charging. The phone comes with 4000mAh battery same as that of the Redmi Note 5.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and the Redmi Note 5 will launch in Nepal in one months time. We can expect the phones to launch at a higher price when it reaches our homeland.
