The New Suzuki Avenis Launch Event was hosted in Nepal today by VG Suzuki, the authorized distributor of Suzuki motorbikes in the country. The Suzuki Avenis 125 has arrived in Nepal and has officially been introduced here. Let's check what was spoken at the unveiling event and the scooter's specifications and cost.
The Suzuki Avenis is finally in Nepal and prepared to conquer the roads. Speaking about Suzuki, it has consistently been the brand that people in Nepal have trusted and believed in speedier performance. Among Nepalese consumers, it has long held the title of the most reliable brand, as stated by the company.
Specs and Features of Avenis 125 in Nepal:
The Suzuki Avenis 125 looks unique from other scooters. In comparison to the existing Suzuki scooters, it has a sportier appearance. The "Advanced Sporty Styling" term describes the aggressive appearance of the front and back parts. The Avenis receives sporty bodywork, including a stylish fuel cap with an exterior hinge, a cowl handlebar with integrated bulb indicators, creased side panels, and a dual-luggage hook.
A 124.3cc, 2-valve, air-cooled, SOHC, FI engine powers the Suzuki Avenis 125 BS6. At 6750 rpm, it has a maximum capacity of 8.7PS, and at 5500 rpm, it has a maximum torque of 10Nm. CVT transmission and a 5.2-liter fuel tank are also included. It has four color options, Black, Red, Green, and White.
With Bluetooth connectivity, the scooter's all-digital instrument cluster provides functions including missed call notifications, SMS alerts, WhatsApp alerts, speed exceeding alarm, phone battery level display, and turn-by-turn navigation. Along with these features, the scooter has a front box with a USB port, side-stand interlock, an integrated engine start/kill switch with a Suzuki Easy Start system, and a 21.8-liter under-seat storage compartment.
"Also, for the Nepali market, the Suzuki Avenis is only offered in the Standard Edition. As a result, it lacks the new Ride Connect Bluetooth connectivity. There will only be one type available without the Ride Connect feature." In terms of price, the Suzuki Avenis 125 costs Rs. 2.99 Lakhs in Nepal.
Features:
- Advanced Sporting Style
- External Hinge Type Fuel Cap
- Large Under Seat Storage Space
- Front Box With USB Socket
- Sporty LED Tail Lamp
- Sporty Meter Visor
- Integrated Engine Start and Kill Switch with Suzuki Easy Start System
- Dual Luggage Hooks
- Multi-Functional Digital Meter (Standard Version)
Unfortunately, Suzuki Nepal has chosen to purchase the Suzuki Avenis Standard Edition. Although disappointing, it shouldn't affect the Avenis' powerful experience. It would have had a competitive advantage over TVS, Yamaha, and Honda if it had offered the RideConnect feature.
