Oppo had launched the Oppo F7 in Nepal a week ago for a price of Rs. 36,950 for the 4/64GB variant and Rs. 46,590 for the 6/128GB variant. The highlight of the phone is the 25MP selfie camera which is powered by Artificial Intelligence.
The Oppo F7 is the successor to the Oppo F3 and the Oppo F5. The new F7 is more feature packed and comes in a new design which looks better and feels right on the hand.
The Oppo has a 6.32-inch Full HD+ IPS display and also has a very tall 19:9 aspect ratio. There's also the infamous notch above the screen. The bezels are minimized on all the four corners of the phone.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 SoC which is the best mid-range SoC from the house of MediaTek. As you can expect, the processor performs really well on this phone. However, we would have loved if the phone could output a little better graphical performance.

Is the Oppo F7 worth the money?
There are a lot of phones you can get at this price point. Generally, Chinese smartphones do well in the mid-range smartphone market. With the Oppo F7, the company is trying to capitalize on the top-end smartphone market where there is strong domination from brands like OnePlus and Samsung. So, with all in consideration, is the Oppo F7 worth the money?
The Oppo F7 generally has a good hardware. It's got a good CPU, decent GPU and ample amount of RAM. The 25MP front camera is also one of the best you will find on any phone. What I am not really fond of is the rear 16MP camera which does a decent job at shooting photos in low-lit environment but not much so when it starts getting dark. I am also not particularly fond of how Color OS 5.0 looks. And also the fact that Oppo doesn't have a good track of updating their phones at times makes me kind of nervous.
All in all, the Oppo F7 is a good phone and is definitely worth considering if selfie is on your topmost priority. If not, make sure to check out for the alternatives.
