After Hozon Neta V, this is the second SUV the company is launching here in Nepal.
The new Neta U2 is the successor to the popular Neta U which is already available in China.

Hozon Neta U2 Overview
The Hozon Neta U2 was first launched in China on October 2022. This is an entry-level fully electric SUV.

The U-II is powered by an 81.57 kWh battery, but there are other options as well. The other options are 54.34 kWh and 70.41-kWh.

Coming on to the range, the former offers a cruising range of 400km while the mid-size unit offers 500km to the top unit offering up to 610km.
Longest Range
The battery pack offers a range of up to 610 km between charges depending on driving conditions. It includes an 88 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that can be recharged at 150 kW DC fast chargers or 22 kW AC chargers.
Coming on to the charging time, it requires around 30 minutes using DC Fast charger to charge from 30-80%.
The top speed of the Neta U-II is 155km/hr.

The suspension includes independent multi-link coils springs and stabilizer bar in the front, and a rigid axle with leaf springs in the rear. It provides sporty handling with minimal body roll and responsive steering. The U-II rides on 19-inch alloy wheels shod with performance summer tires.

For braking, the U-II features ventilated disc brakes with 4-piston calipers and anti-lock braking system. Regenerative braking allows the motors to recharge the batteries during deceleration and braking. This helps improve overall efficiency and driving range.
