Horwin is a market-leading company focusing on electric bikes that integrates design, research and production, and sales. Horwin has been creating intelligent electric vehicles for years (electric motorcycles). The company was established in Shanghai, China, in 2014 (founded year).
The company has been working hard to develop improvements for the market for electric motorcycles, which is becoming increasingly popular but is still very experimental. The EK3 electric scooter's prototype won the Red Dot design prize in 2020. By further enhancing its model lineup in 2022, the company will be able to provide some of the most outstanding solutions in the urban transportation market.
Horwin is aiming to capitalize on the development tendencies of both the motorcycle market and the new energy sector by focusing on the pure electric motorcycle segment in the context of this scenario. The global motorbike market was valued at US$124.387 billion in 2019, with sales reaching a high point in recent years, according to Statista data. The market nevertheless exceeded US$100 billion in 2020 and 2021 despite the Covid-19 pandemic's effects.
Electric two-wheelers and other personal transportation equipment are produced and supplied by Horwin. Its product line includes electric motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, kick scooters, tricycles, and other vehicles. The company makes global product exports.
