Introduction
Honda CB Shine 125 is one of the most popular and best-selling commuter motorcycles in its segment in Nepal. The authorized distributor of the Honda in Nepal, Syakar Trading Company Pvt. Ltd., is currently offering two different variants of this bike in the Nepalese market. Both variants come with the same list of features, with the major difference in braking configuration.

Design and Looks
Design-wise, Honda CB Shine 125 looks simple and basic. Honda has kept the vintage appearance of the bike while retaining the overall styling of the previous versions. New graphics have been included on the side panel. Likewise, a premium 3D logo, chrome carburetor, exhaust cover, new tail lamp, and the trendy front visor has been included in the vehicle.
Additionally, it is available in six different color options – Mapple Brown Metallic, Geny Grey Metallic, Black, Athletic Blue Metallic, Sports Red, Rebel Red, and Pearl Amazing White.

On the outside, the bike measures 2012 mm in length, 762 mm in width, and 1090 mm in height and weighs around 123 Kg. Similarly, the motorbike has a ground clearance of 157 mm, a wheelbase of 13266 mm, and a seat height of 791 mm. The machine comes equipped with a petrol fuel tank that can hold 12.1 liters of fuel.
Engine and Performance
Honda CB Shine is powered by a 124.73 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SI engine. The BS4-complaint carburetor engine of the bike is connected to a four-speed gearbox. Additionally, it packs Honda Eco Technology (HET). In terms of output, it delivers 7.88 kW of maximum power at 7500 rpm alongside a maximum torque of 10.30 Nm at 5500 rpm.
As per various reports, the bike can reach a maximum speed of 93 Km/h and offers a mileage of 60 Km/L. To prevent collisions, this bike incorporates 130 mm drum brakes at both ends. However, there is also an option of a 240 mm front disc brake for the disc variant.
Other Features
The suspension duties of the CB Shine are handled by telescopic front forks in conjunction with a spring-loaded hydraulic rear suspension. The tires are tubeless measuring the same 80/ 100 -18 on the front and the rear.
Besides, the motorbike gets an analog instrument cluster, a highly durable HET engine, a trendy front visor, outstanding tail lights, and automatic headlight on features.
