Cimex Inc., the official distributor of BYD cars in Nepal, is preparing to launch the electric SUV ATTO-3 in Nepal soon. Atto-3 is larger in size than Creta, Seltos, Taigun, and Kushaq. It also has a wheelbase of 2720 mm.
The Atto-3 launched in the Australian market features both the 50.1 kWh blade battery in the standard variant and 60.4 kWh in the long-range variant. The same model with two battery options is expected to arrive in Nepal as well.
The company has given a motor with a capacity of 150 kW in Atto-3. The WLTP has certified the range of these two as 320 and 420 kilometers respectively. According to NEDC, 400 and 480 km have been certified respectively.

For safety, this SUV has a front ventilated disc and rear disc brakes. Also included are 7 airbags, electric parking brakes, ABS, ESP, traction control, hill descent control, intelligent cruise control, automatic braking, front collision warning, door open warning, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and more.
The interior of the EV also features an eye-catching design.
The key interior highlights include a Multifunctional steering wheel, 5-inch digital instrument cluster, leather seat, folding rear seat, 6-way adjustable driver seat, ISO fixed child seat, 12.8-inch rotated infotainment system, and wireless charger, keyless entry, 8 speakers.
The new BYD Atto-3 is expected to arrive around a price tag of Rs. 60-65 lakhs in Nepal.
