Korean automaker Hyundai is on its full verge to launch different car models in 2021 and so. While the auto giant recently launched the premium 7-seater SUV Hyundai Alcazar in the Indian market, the carmaker still has more to show us.

Hyundai Palisade
Hyundai Palisade is not a new name for Hyundai fans as this SUV is already available overseas. However, the good news is that the Palisade SUV is soon making its debut in Indian trails too. This full-sized 7-8 seater SUV from Hyundai will possibly reside at the flagship line-up in Hyundai India offerings.
This one is likely to be powered by a 2.2L CRDi 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine churning out a power of 197bhp alongside a peak torque of 440 Nm. Likewise, it will run on an 8-Speed AMT gearbox transmission and might arrive with various driving modes-- ECO, COMFORT, SPORT, SMART, and so on.

Hyundai AX1 Micro SUV
Hyundai's upcoming micro-SUV with funky looks- codenamed AX1 has been teased ahead of its official unveiling. The teaser image of the SUV highlights the SUV’s front headlamps and tail-light design.

Speaking of the two teaser images of the SUV showcased, it confirms that the South-Korean carmaker will continue to follow the signature Hyundai SUV design language, i.e. split headlamp up front. In addition, a circular projector unit can also be seen set within the bumper.
Moreover, the spy shots also reveal other notable features such as an upright stance, big windows, and square wheel arches. The front grille of the SUV also seems to get a unique design pattern.

Expectations
The upcoming Hyundai AX1 is expected to be based on Hyundai’s popular K1 platform, which its other sibling the Grand i10 Nios also shares. The micro-SUV might arrive with similar powertrain options- a 1.2L- Petrol, a 1.2-liter Diesel, and a 1.0L turbocharged engine.
The AX1 is likely to make its global debut around the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2021. Excitingly, the AX1 SUV has high chances to arrive in the Indian market too. As per reports, we might expect the Hyundai AX1 SUV to hit the Indian showroom by early 2022.
