In the 125 cc segment, Honda CB Shine is highly dominating the Nepali market. Although many other brands of motorcycles are available in the 125cc segment, other models are not ready to compete with Honda Shine in terms of sales.
However, the Raider brought to Nepal by TVS a few months ago is remaining a good competitor to this segment. It's been 15 years since Honda started selling Shine. Since its approach in the Nepali 125cc segment, it has remained an unbeatable leader.
The Honda CB Shine is a model that has completed 15 years of production and 10 million units of sales in India. In this case, it is advisable to examine the comparative differences between the new competitor Raider and the CB Shine. Let’s compare the two versatile 125cc machines.
Honda CB Shine VS TVS Raider

The Honda CB Shine is a model designed with traditional looks. The company has not changed much in the last 15 years. Consistent success is considered to be the strongest side of the Shine. For the same reason, the company may not have changed its look. Honda is still benefiting from that.
On the contrary, the TVS Raider is a modern and aggressive-designed model. Raider can win the hearts of those who want a new design in the 125cc segment. At first glance, the new TVS Raider looks like a 150cc segment bike while its features are very competitive to Honda Shine.

Similarly, the engine in TVS Raider generates a maximum of 12.9 PS of power and 11.5 Nm of torque. Both these motorcycles’ mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
