Triumph Tiger Sport 660 Overview
Powering this versatile adventure tourer is a 660cc liquid-cooled three-cylinder DOHC engine that delivers a peak power of 80bhp at 10,250 rpm alongside 47 ld-ft (64Nm) torque at 6250 rpm. The suspension duties in the Tiger Sport 660 are handled by Showa 41mm upside-down cartridge forks up front and a Showa mono-shock RSU unit at the rear. Built on a Tubular steel perimeter alloy frame, the Tiger Sport 660 runs on 17-inch wheels.
In addition, there are dual-disc brakes available on both wheels while the motorcycle comes with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) as standard.
The bike adopts a massive fuel tank with a 4.5 gallon (17.2 L) capacity.
The top speed of the motorcycle is claimed to be 140 mph.
Additionally, Triumph also offers an updated full-color TFT screen with enhanced graphics and the ‘My Triumph’ app connectivity feature in Triumph Tiger. This allows riders to easily access the turn-by-turn navigation system and use the GoPro feature via Bluetooth.
Arriving with a perfect design ergonomics, great performance, and off-road capability, the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 surely competes for the position of one of the best bikes in the segment. Seemingly active safety features like cruise control and ABS also make the motorcycle a friendly bike for beginner adventure riders as well. However, since this is a heavy and powerful machine, it won’t be in an absolute beginner’s hand.
