Top 3 upcoming Motorcycles in Nepal | Expected Price and features

Nepali Automobile market is now full of tons of bike models and brands. Various new models are being introduced in the Nepali market in a swift run. One after another, a variety of popular motorcycles manufactured in the international market are paving its way to the Nepali trails too. Despite being a small market, there are more than 30 motorcycle brands that have been selling their products in Nepal.

More on, with the sudden hype in the Nepali Auto market, the market has also become increasingly competitive. While in the meantime, there are still some new motorcycles models that are preparing to pave their way to Nepal within the next two months or so.

Here is a list of the top three new motorcycles which will soon be arriving in the country within no time.

 

Royal Enfield Continental GT 650

Yes, that’s right! Royal Enfield will soon be introducing its GT model in the Nepali market. The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, which combines attractive features with modern technology has already come to Nepal but has not been officially made public.

This motorcycle is claimed to be the favorite choice for the younger generation. The GT 650 will be available in six color options: Orange Cruise, Mark-3 Black, Silver Specter, Ravishing Red, White and Red, and Glitter and just chrome.

The Royal Enfield GT 650 is powered by a 649cc parallel-twin air-cooled engine that delivers a power of 47bhp along with a peak torque of 52Nm. The bike’s engine has been mated with a 6-speed gearbox transmission while it also gets a dual-channel ABS system integrated into it. Additionally, there are telescopic forks integrated on the frontal suspension while twin coil-over shock for the rear one.

The bike’s handle, tank, and seats have been designed in a quirky way. Its tank holds a fuel capacity of 13.7L. The new Royal Enfield Continental GT is expected to hold a price tag of Rs. 12,50,000/- in Nepal.

 

Husqvarna Svartpilen 401s

Well, Husqvarna is also soon introducing its new model in Nepal. Panchakanya Automobile Groups, the sole distributor for Husqvarna bikes in Nepal will be launching the new Husqvarna Svartpilen 401s in Nepal within a few months.

The new Husqvarna Svartpilen 401s will be based on the KTM Duke 390 model. The bike will be featuring a 373cc DOHC single-cylinder engine which will be mated with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike's remarkably compact engine will be generating power of 44bhp along with a peak torque of 37Nm.

The Husqvarna 401s has been designed with attractive handlebars, large-sized fuel tanks while it also features dual-channel ABS for braking. Other quirky features of the bike include LCD headlight, large-sized speed indicator on the front, uniquely designed exhaust and so on.

However, the expected pricing details of the bike has not been public yet. Husqvarna is a Swedish motorcycle manufacturer that has been selling wide ranges of motorcycles for more than 10 decades. Its new model, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401s had also been able to make its way at the recent EICMA 2019 Auto Show while it had also been able to rest at the Top 10 list of EICMA 2019 best motorcycles.

 

Harley Street 750 and Street Rod 750

The top motorcycle brand, Harley Davidson is soon releasing its new range of two models in Nepal. The firm is planning on releasing the Street 750 and Street Rod 750 in Nepal too.

IME Automobiles, the sole distributor for Harley Davidson bikes in Nepal will be releasing these two models in Nepal. More on, speaking of the features of the bike, street 750 is powered by a 749cc liquid-cooled V-Twin-engine which delivers a power of 58bhp and 59Nm of peak torque. The bike is integrated with a single port fuel injection system. It has a wheelbase of 1520 mm and a 13.1L fuel tank. Similarly, Street 750 has a ground clearance of 145mm.

Furthermore, highlighting on the Street Rod 750, the two-wheeler is powered by a 749cc liquid-cooled V-Twin engine which generates similar power as the Street 750 while peak torque of 62Nm. However, the Rod 750 has been integrated with a twin-port fuel injection system. The bike has a wheelbase of 1510mm along with a ground clearance of 205Nm. Similarly, the bike has a 13.1L fuel tank.

The two new models by Harley Davidson will be launching around the first or second week of December 2019. Speaking of the pricing of the bikes, the bikes will be costing around Rs. (25-27) lakhs in Nepal.
