After a high popularity and bike enthusiasts’ attraction for cruiser bikes, TVS is all set to launch their new cruiser motorcycle, the TVS Zeppelin. This upcoming cruiser bike by TVS might compete against the Bajaj Avenger and Suzuki Intruder after its launch.
The firm might soon be launching its Production Ready Zeppelin model in the market. The design and model concept of the bike was already showcased by TVS at last year’s Auto Expo organized in India.
Coming to the features of the new TVs Zeppelin Cruiser, the bike adopts a Naked Street design with a two-tone color scheme. It also has a comfortable riding position maintained along with a handlebar-mounted mirror and a golden colored front forks.
Additionally, the Zeppelin features a hexagonal shaped headlamp, spoke wheels and wide fuel tank with the company’s emblem on the top. More on, the bike will also feature LED lighting setup for headlamp, turn indicators and tail-lights. Highlighting on the engine specs, the TVS Zeppelin will be powered by a 220cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine which will be mated with a 5-speed gearbox transmission. The bike’s engine will generate a power of 20bhp at 8500rpm along with a peak torque of 18.5Nm at 7000rpm.
Braking is handled by disc brakes on both the front and rear sides. Similarly, for the suspension, the bike has been integrated with a 41mm conventional telescopic fork on the front while the rear is handled by a mono-shock unit.
The new TVS Zeppelin cruiser is expected to launch around early 2020 in India.
