Breaking News: Proton e.MAS kicks off an aggressive electric push in Pokhara with a three-day vehicle exchange event, aiming to convert traditional vehicle owners into EV drivers.
The company has confirmed that the event will run from today Poush 7 to 9 (December 22–24, 2025) at City Square Banquet & Restaurant, New Road, Pokhara. This marks the first major exchange program of its kind in the city, as Proton e.MAS expands its footprint beyond the Kathmandu Valley.

The campaign is built around a hands-on approach, allowing vehicle owners to bring in their current cars for on-site evaluation. Attendees will receive guidance on Proton’s EV offerings, with a focus on ownership benefits, sustainability, and savings.
At the center of the showcase is the Proton e.MAS 7, which is being offered at a special exchange price starting at Rs 46.99 lakh. The electric SUV boasts a 160 kW motor, making it a strong contender in Nepal’s growing EV market.
Customers will have the choice between two driving range variants, 492 km and 585 km, certified under the NEDC cycle. With a ground clearance of 180 mm, the e.MAS 7 is tailored for Nepali roads, whether navigating city traffic or cruising through hilly terrain.
Measuring 4,615 mm in length, the SUV enters the midsize segment with a commanding design and a package that blends power, comfort, and long-range practicality. Its modern exterior styling and advanced safety features are designed to appeal to both first-time EV buyers and SUV enthusiasts.
This Pokhara event reflects Proton e.MAS’s broader strategy to decentralize EV adoption and reach customers in rapidly developing urban hubs outside the capital.
