MG ZS EV gets new update: AC Filter which can help you breathe cleaner

With the recent release of the new MZ Hector SUV in India, the new EV has been able to receive quite a great review from the consumers. And after gaining quite a great popularity in the market, the ZS EV has been a good rival against another competitor, the Kona Electric.

Meanwhile, soon after the EV’s launch, MG has again added a new OTA update on the four-wheeler while it’s still under test by the firm. MG has added a new crucial feature in their vogue car, i.e. a newly designed air-conditioning system. Hector’s new updated model comes with an air-conditioning system equipped with an air filter that keeps PM 2.5 levels in check. The new updated model is scheduled to launch at the Auto Expo 2020.

Additionally, highlighting more details on the new feature, the ZS EV comes with a single zone climate control. And if you are confused by the term PM 2.5 levels, PM simply means Particulate Matter which comprises fine invisible pollutants that are present in the atmosphere. Anything which is above the PM level 2.5 is harmful to the human body if inhaled in the long run. Therefore, the new air-filter integrated into the EV filters these harmful pollutants present in the atmosphere and lets you breathe clean and fresh air. With this new feature, the person sitting inside the EV can measure the air quality inside the vehicle with a device that reveals if the air quality is at acceptable levels. But as soon as one steps out, the air quality can be seen worsening through the device.

Well, let’s hope if the new feature integrated into the SUV can really work up to its expectations.

The MG ZS EV is integrated with an electric motor that delivers a power of 150PS and 350Nm of peak torque. The EV is packed with a 45.6kWh battery which can provide you a range of 428km on a single charge. Also, the EV’s battery supports Fast charging and can easily charge up to 80% from dead just within half an hour's time.

The new ZS EV model is expected to launch at the upcoming Auto Expo 2020 while speaking of the pricing, the EV’s price tag has not been revealed yet.
