TVS and BMW Motorcycles have agreed to produce electric two-wheelers. An agreement has been made between Indian motorcycle company TVS and German bike makers to produce electric two-wheelers in a joint collaboration.
The two companies have been producing motorcycles with combustion engines in partnership before. BMW's smallest CC motorcycles G310R and G310 GS are currently being produced at the TVS Indian plant.

In the same 310 cc engine, the largest CC capacity motorcycle of TVS, Apache RR 310 is also being built. Motorcycles of both these companies are also being sold and distributed in Nepal.
The motorcycles produced as per the agreement between the two companies will be manufactured at TVS 'Indian plant.
Honda Motorcycles India starts manufacturing engines for global markets
The collaboration between these two companies has been completed for 9 years now. According to the company, BMW's lowest cc motorcycle production in India has completed 100,000 units in the last nine years.
